Fitting
Once you have bought your windows and doors from UPVC-Online, you may want help to fit them. And whilst we say that our windows and doors are easy fit, we appreciate that sometimes it's just more convenient for an expert to fit them for you. If this is the case, then we offer a cost effective and highly efficient fitting 3 step service where we:
- Remove the old frame and prepare the brickwork making sure that we fill any gaps, check the surround for old nails or damaged render and make any necessary repairs.
- Fit the window or door to the wall using correct fixings, making sure that it is perfectly square and level before sealing.
- Finish the new frame, making sure that we cover all screw heads with matching wood filler, repair any outside rendering and plaster or fill the sides of the frame inside before decorating.
The cost of fitting depends on two things, whether it is a new build installation or a domestic installation. Costs are shown below:
New Installations
- Windows from £50.00 each, includes all fixings foam silicone.
- Doors from £70.00 each, includes all fixings foam & silicone.
- Registration to Fensa or Certass should not be required as the building inspector will sign the job off, so there won't be a fee!
Domestic Installations
- Windows from £80.00 each, includes all fixings foam silicone and waste removal.
- Doors from £100.00 each, includes all fixings foam silicone and waste removal.
- Registration to Fensa or Certas will be required at an additional fee of £60.00

Measuring
If you want complete peace of mind that your new UPVC-Online windows, doors and conservatoires fit perfectly and comply with the latest regulations, we offer a competitively priced full survey service which costs 3% of your total order value.
For this very reasonable fee, our experienced surveyors, who have worked on many large local authority contracts and thousands of domestic installations, will visit and accurately measure every aspect of your home or business to ensure that your new windows, doors and conservatories are of the right size, and will fit correctly. He will also advise and make sure that your new windows and doors comply with the latest regulations. For example, IE load bearing bays, fire escape facilities, toughened glass and the correct ventilation requirements for each habitable room.
In addition, the UPVC-Online survey team are specialists in all aspects of orangeries in timber, aluminium and UPVC and are experienced at working with structural engineers to specify correct glu lam beams and complex installations where portal frames are required.
